QAFLW Senior Coach Peter Doherty and QAFLW Reserves Coach Mal Smith have re-signed for 2024.
It will be Doherty’s second year in the role and Smith’s third year in the role.
General Manager of Football Operations Jarrod Field said, “It is terrific to have Peter and Mal continuing as head coaches of our QAFLW program.”
“The care they have for developing players and creating a good culture is first class, which is why we were so eager to re-sign them.”
“We are really excited for next year and to build on the momentum we have created in our first two years in the competition.”
“At the Sharks we want to continue to be a pathway for girls to be drafted whilst also trying to win premierships, and we believe Pete and Mal are the perfect people to lead the QAFLW program in that direction.”
