Food and Beverage
Our Food and Beverage department includes management of the following brands: Frenzy Food Court, Carmody’s, Cabana Bar & Lounge, FINS Cellar, Lounge Bar, Terrace Bar, and Mackenzie’s Sports Bar. The department is also responsible for stock and cellar management.
Health + Fitness
The Southport Sharks Health + Fitness (SSH+F) team are responsible for our fitness members. SSH+F implements programs such IAP, personal training, and the coordination of group fitness classes.
Our football department’s core focus is on-field performance and the recruitment of football players. The football department has a strong connection with the Gold Coast football community and Southport Sharks Juniors.
The marketing team focuses on achieving the club’s mission. The team is responsible for the planning and execution of advertising, communications and social media. The team also assists stakeholders to achieve their strategic goals.
The Gaming Department is responsible for ensuring the gaming machines are current and operate as per Government regulation. The department is also in accountable for the Responsible Service of Gaming.
Facilities and Maintenance
Our Facilities and Maintenance department services the grounds and facilities at Southport Sharks. It is also responsible for OH&S, compliance, and the general well-being of our members and guests.
Events and Conferences
The events team is responsible for managing events across Mantra at Sharks hotel, Sharks Events Centre, Cabana Bar & Lounge, and Mackenzie’s.
Our Human Resources department is responsible for the recruitment of team members. The HR department also manages various HR programs, regular training, team member awards, and excursions.
The Finance Department is responsible for day-to-day accounting at Southport Sharks and also the strategic direction of finance-related initiatives.
Loyalty and Customer Relations
Loyalty and Customer Relations love serving people. This department is responsible for membership programs, customer service, and service recovery.
