ABOUT OUR QAFLW PROGRAM
In 2020, we introduced a senior women’s team. For our first two years of existence, we played in QFAW Division 1 and won premierships in both years. In 2022, we were promoted to the QAFLW, which is the state league for women’s football in Queensland. We introduced a Reserves team in 2022 as it is a requirement for playing in the QAFLW.
In our first season in the QAFLW, our Seniors made the Grand Final, and our Reserves won the premiership. In our first two year’s in the QAFLW we have had 11 players drafted/signed by AFLW clubs in two seasons, more than any club in Australia. In 2023, both our Seniors and Reserves made the finals. In 2024, Peter Doherty, will be the QAFLW Senior Coach for his second year.
