The Carlton Draught Celebrity Sports Lunch is now a truly iconic event on the Gold Coast. This year will be no exception, with a stellar line-up of celebrity guests, exceptional dining and live entertainment.

Sam Kekovich
Sam needs no introduction- hilarious, controversial and entertaining!  Former Australian Rules player, Sam is now a media personality and sports commentator and will have you in stitches as our emcee at our 2019 Celebrity Sports Lunch.

David Foster OAM
World Champion Woodchopper running 21 years straight, David is arguably Australia’s most successful athlete. David is the only athlete in the world to win over 1000 titles in a sport, and will motivate the audience with his keynote address “Dreams Do Come True”.

Peter “Spida” Everitt
Former AFL player for St Kilda, Hawthorn and Sydney, Peter now hosts the Breakfast Show on 92.5 Gold FM and will host our Sports Couch at this year’s event.

Curtis McGrath
Hardworking yet humble, Curtis McGrath is a soldier-turned-athlete who will join “Spida” on the couch to share his inspirational story on how he has used sports as a tool for rehabilitation and motivation.

Tom Gleeson
Tom is one of Australia’s favourite comedians. Featuring on Good News Week, The Project and Thank God You’re Here (just to name a few!), guests are sure to have a chuckle at this year’s Celebrity Sports Lunch.

As a not for profit organisation with a sporting focus, Southport Sharks places great emphasis on fundraising opportunities such as the annual Sports Lunch.  Our chosen charities for this year’s event are Junior Sharks Football Club, headspace Southport and The Annual Athletics Carnival for the Disabled.
