Southport Sharks are pleased to announce that current NEAFL player and former AFL player Ryan Davis will coach the club’s inaugural women’s team in 2020.
Davis (30), played 35 AFL games for West Coast and Gold Coast in two stints at the top level.
2019 saw Davis kick off his coaching career as a playing Assistant Coach at NEAFL level.
General Manager – Football Operations Jarrod Field said;
“Ryan did a fantastic job with the NEAFL side this year and we are very pleased to have a former AFL player so keen to coach our Women’s team next season”.
“Preparations are in full swing for our upcoming combine in November”.
