The Southport Sharks are pleased to welcome 2023 TSL premiership player Elijah Reardon to the club.
Reardon is a 23-year-old rebounding defender who has played 83 TSL senior games for the Kingborough Tigers over the last five years.
In 2021, he also played two VFL games for North Melbourne as part of a partnership between North Melbourne and the TSL.
This year, Reardon played 19 games for the Tigers and averaged 17 disposals, seven contested possessions, five rebound 50s, and five intercept marks a game.
He was selected in the 2023 TSL Team of the Year for his efforts and played for the Tasmanian Representative team that beat Queensland in July.
Southport’s General Manager of Football Operations, Jarrod Field, said, “Elijah has been an impressive player in the TSL for several years now, and we look forward to him joining the club.”
“He is going to be a terrific addition to our side, and I believe he will play a massive role in helping us improve next year.”
