The Southport Sharks are pleased to announce that they have signed Sydney Swans Academy graduate Christian Webster.
The 19-year-old key defender trained with the club in the pre-Christmas training block and has now officially joined the club.
Over the past two seasons, Webster has played for the Swans VFL and Coates League teams, the Allies in the Under 18 National Championships, and Pennant Hills in the AFL Sydney Premier Division.
Southport’s General Manager of Football Operations, Jarrod Field, said, “Christian has impressed us this pre-season and we are pleased to have him officially join the club.”
“We are excited about the younger players we have signed this year and Christian is no exception.”
