The AFL has today confirmed the fixture for Week One of the 2022 Smithy’s VFL Finals Series.
The Southport Sharks will travel to Moreton Bay to take on the Brisbane Lions in the first qualifying final at 1:35 pm.
Saturday’s game will be broadcasted via afl.com.au and the AFL Live App.
To thank football fans for their outstanding support throughout the 2022 season, the AFL was pleased to announce that entry to all matches in Week One of the 2022 Smithy’s VFL Finals Series is free.
If the Sharks win, they will get the week off and host a preliminary final at Fankhauser Reserve.
If they lose, Southport will host a semi final on the weekend of September 3/4 against the winner of the second elimination final.
