Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred – Reopening Updates
Last Updated: Thursday 13 March, 8:30AM (AEST)
We are pleased to share that following a thorough assessment of the impact from Cyclone Alfred on the Club, it has been deemed safe for us to reopen with a gradual return of regular services from 2PM, Monday, 10 March (10/3/25).
Please note that not all outlets are guaranteed to operate at full capacity, therefore certain areas may see a reduced offering until they can return to normal, and operations will be reassessed daily.
Outlets back to regular trading hours:
- Café
- Frenzy’s
- Wobbygongs
- Gaming Room & Lounge Bar
- Box Coffee
- Cabana Bar
- Fitness Centre
- Fins Cellar
- Aviary Rooftop Bar (serving a limited menu at this time, no pizzas available and reduced tapas offering)
Safety First:
- We urge you to continue to follow the safety and precaution tips from local emergency services during this time, as there are still areas affected by flooding and loss of power impacting traffic lights. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, so please only travel if it is safe to do so.
- Further updates can be found using the City of Gold Coast’s Disaster and Emergency Dashboard – this can be accessed here.
Thank you for your cooperation and support during this time, and we look forward to seeing you back at the club.
Kind regards,
Southport Sharks
