  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND A GAME?

    All VFL and QAFLW home games at Fankhauser Reserve are FREE to attend and not ticketed.

  • HOW DO I GET TO FANKHAUSER RESERVE?

    Fankhauser Reserve is located at Southport Sharks, Corner Olsen and Musgrave Avenue, Southport QLD 4215.

    Parking – We have ample parking in front of the clubhouse or around the oval. Parking for all home games is FREE.

    G-Link – Southport Sharks and Fankhauser Reserve are in short walking distance from the Gold Coast University Hospital G-Link station.  The service runs regularly between Helensvale Train Station and Pacific Fair (Broadbeach South).   • WHERE CAN I WATCH THE GAMES?

    MAIN CLUB

    Frenzy’s – Book a table and enjoy the best seats in the house. There are several food and beverage options for lunch and dinner, including special food and beverage Game Day offers. To book, click here.

    Cabana Bar – Watch all the action from the Cabana Bar. Bookings must be made in advance as there are limited cabanas available.  Book now by calling 07 5532 1155.

    Mackenzie’s Sports Bar – The place to have a drink before and after the game. Soak in the club’s history whilst having a beer with your mates. The players will join for post-match celebrations or commiserations, however Mackenzie’s Sports Bar does not have a view of the oval.

    GROUND LEVEL

    Scoreboard Carpark – Park your car around the oval and enjoy the game from the comfort of your car.

    Junior Canteen Hill – Bring a blanket or camping chair and enjoy the hot and cold foods from the canteen, and cheer on the team from the hill.

    Under Cover Viewing Area – Be close to the action and enjoy the game near the benches. Seating is provided.

  • ARE GAME DAYS CHILD-FRIENDLY?

    Absolutely!  Bring the whole family along.

    We also have the Wobbygongs Kids Fun Zone, which is a purpose-built play area for children aged 3 to 12 years offering fun activities, including a rock-climbing wall, mini basketball court, theatrette that shows the latest movies and television shows, home corner play area and drawing tables. $4.50 per hour for Members from Friday to Sunday.   • WHERE ARE THE TOILET FACILITIES LOCATED?

    There are toilet facilities located in the junior clubhouse and main club.

  • CAN I ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY?

    Yes, but only at the end of each quarter. There is strictly no entry to the field of play during the quarters or during the team warm-ups.

  • CAN I ENTER THE CHANGEROOMS?

    Sorry, changerooms are strictly for players and staff only.

  • WHO DO I TALK TO IF I REQUIRE ASSISTANCE ON MATCH DAY?

    Security, junior canteen volunteers, or Southport Sharks staff inside the main club will be happy to assist you on the day.   We ask that you kindly refrain from making enquiries with Football staff and coaches.

  • DO YOU SELL SHARKS MERCHANDISE?

    Yes, we have a range of jerseys, polo shirts, jackets, hats and other merch available for purchase in our Fins Bottleshop. Alternatively, you can order online here.
