A flexible meeting space, breaking into one, two or three rooms. The Ashcroft Room is named after former Southport Sharks and Triple AFL Premiership player, Marcus Ashcroft. Ashcroft started his senior career at Sharks before going on to play 318 games for the Brisbane Bears/Lions, where he won three consecutive premierships in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
A large room with operable walls, the Ashcroft Room has direct access to the Ashcroft & Riewoldt Foyer, featuring complete Audio Visual capabilities – perfect for seminars and conferences, accommodating groups of 150-250 people.
Ashcroft One, Ashcroft Two and Ashcroft Three rooms are intimate spaces within the Ashcroft Room and are perfect for workshops, seminars and conferences, accommodating groups of 20-50 people.
The Conference and Events Package has been carefully designed by the talented Sharks Events Centre team to include a mix of options such as: plated, buffet or continental breakfast menus; half or full day conference packs with sweet and savoury selections; various working lunch menus featuring sandwich, salad and hot options; cocktail and tapas menus or design your own plated 3 course menu – you can rest easy knowing your guests will love the quality of the amazing food, carefully created by our talented team of chefs.
