Sharks Events Centre is proud to host #UnitedForChange, a first-of-its-kind inaugural luncheon event in support of National Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Month on Saturday 13th of May 2023 presented by the amazing team at Events for Purpose.
This event will offer the community and corporate sector an opportunity to demonstrate they are committed to change and making a stand.
Violence against women and children continues to be an incredibly serious problem, however, it is also a preventable problem. Action means more than words. One in three women has experienced physical violence from the age of 15: enough is enough, and supportive events like this aim to move the needle in making the necessary change.
Tickets to this amazing day are only $149 (incl. BF) each and will include a gourmet 2-course lunch, a 3-hour beverage package, entertainment, raffles, auctions, guest speakers and an opportunity to truly support grassroots charities working on the frontline in the domestic and family violence space. These include: Hearts of Purple, The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation, Red Rose Foundation Australia, and The Kelly Wilkinson Foundation*.
These are all non-Government funded organisations making a real difference to victims of domestic violence – and they will all benefit from your support.
