The Southport Sharks have signed Redland-Victoria Point star Brock Aston.
The 24-year-old midfielder trained with the club over the pre-Christmas training block and has now officially joined the club.
In his two years at Redland-Victoria Point he has been named in the QAFL Team of the Year both times and represented Queensland against Tasmania last year.
Before then, Aston played for Morningside, West Juniors/UQ, Lions Academy/Lions NEAFL and Coolaroo in Toowoomba.
Southport’s General Manager of Football Operations, Jarrod Field, said, “Brock’s attitude to the pre-season as a train-on player was fantastic, and it’s great to now have him on our list.”
“We look forward to seeing what he can do this year as a Southport Shark.”
