Kim Crane is a nationally recognised sport executive and transformational leader shaping the future of Australian sport through people, performance, and purpose.

A former Hockeyroo and now CEO of Paddle Australia, Kim brings over 30 years of lived experience across elite sport and leadership. Her career includes senior executive roles at the AIS, QAS, NSWIS, Surfing Australia, and Hockey Australia – spanning Olympic and Paralympic campaign strategy, system reform, and cultural transformation.

Kim is known for her values-led, people-first approach and ability to align elite performance with inclusive community growth. She has led national high-performance strategy, launched centres of excellence, and driven cross-sector partnerships across sport, education, health, and tourism.

As a Southport Sharks Board Director, Kim brings deep strategic expertise, an extensive government and sport network, and a vision for sport as a unifying force for lifestyle, wellbeing, and community impact – especially in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032.
