A New Chapter Outdoors

Southport Sharks’ new DOSA is now open — a spacious, light-filled area with lounge seating, bar tables, and permanent overhead heaters. Accessible to the left, past the Gaming Cashier via button-operated doors.

The next stage of Sharks upgrades has landed.

Our brand-new Designated Outdoor Smoking Area (DOSA) is now open – bigger, brighter and ready for action.

A modern, accessible space that’s created with your comfort front of mind.

Located just off the Gaming Room, the entry is fully accessible with push-button doors, leading into a spacious open-air layout. Whether you want to sink into a lounge chair or perch at a high table, the new DOSA is designed for all styles of hangout. Permanent overhead heaters mean it’s a year-round space, comfortable no matter the season.

The former DOSA has now closed, but the story doesn’t end there. Stairs are being installed soon to connect you to that space, which is in the middle of an exciting transformation. Behind the scenes, work is underway for a Cabana Bar & Lounge refresh—setting the stage for a new look and experience we can’t wait to reveal.

So while you enjoy the new DOSA right now, know that it’s just the beginning. More upgrades are on the horizon, and the next chapter promises to be even bigger.

This marks the next steps in bringing our Master Plan to life. We’re excited to share more refurbishments as they roll out — and to reveal what they mean for the future of the club.
