Local, national and international talent showcase of Soul, Blue, Funk, Rock N Roll, Hip Hop, Covers, Top40, Pop, Reggae, Alternative and some of the best Tribute acts. APRIL 28 - Pinksta & Swaussy Fire - African Dance, Pop, Reggae, Soul

Pinksta & SwaussieFire are a professional band which brings a diverse range of music resulting in a variety of styles such as African Roots, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, and Soul. Their up-beat songs are great to dance to, and their more relaxed music is a pleasant treat for your ears.

A proud local band of the Gold Coast offering something different with their many styles of up-beat music. Singer-songwriter Pinky hails from the kingdom of Swaziland and performs with her 4-piece band SwaussyFire.


APRIL 29 - Long Gone Daddys - 50s & 60s RNR

The Long Gone Daddys have been providing authentic rock & roll and country music to audiences on the Gold & Sunshine Coast’s - and all places in between, for several years.  Combining the vocal stylings/ piano skills of front man Chris Doyle, with Steve Fisher’s expert guitar and synthesizer and Rick Wilson’s great drumming and vocals, this band are now one of the biggest sounding & effective trios available on the Coast.


MAY 5 - Rolling Stones Experience - Tribute

The show features seasoned musical artists John van Zyl (Mick Jagger), Wayne Harvey (Ronnie Wood), Geoff Taylor (Bill Wyman), John Condon (Keith Richards), Josh Griffin (Charlie Watts), and Paul Middlebrook (Chuck Leavell). They promise that during their shows you’ll feel the energy of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world and have a fantastic time singing along to all your favourite Stones classics.


MAY 6 - Andrew Baxter Band - Blues

Passionate and powerful are adjectives commonly used to describe blues performers, while, up-tempo, positive and funky are not. However, all these words can be applied to the Andrew Baxter Band. Local Gold Coast artists, the band draws from a very wide range of influences and their performance is always aimed at ensuring the audience is entertained and goes home with a smile on their face and a song on their lips. 


MAY 12 - The Waves - Blues

THE WAVES are an eclectic bunch of musicians with a dynamic range of musical styles and tastes. All of the members work either for or with the City of Gold Coast, most notably Councillor Bob La Castra and CEO Dale Dickson. The Waves (previously known as “The Full Stops”) are regular performers around the City, good for all sorts of functions. Their wide experience is reflected in a large set list of covers plus a few originals.


MAY 13 - Aussie Pride - Aussie Rock Tribute

Featuring six seasoned musicians, Aussie Pride pays Tribute to The Legends of Australian Rock from the likes of Cold Chisel, AC/DC, INXS, Angels, Australian Crawl, Hoodoo Gurus, Skyhooks and many more. Aussie Pride is an interactive show covering a whole cross section of classic Australian Rock from the last 5 decades. With 2 dedicated vocalists (male & female) as well as the services of the professional sound and lighting team, you can expect a large production show and a great night out!


MAY 19 - The Hodads - Covers

Forming in 1996, The Hodads provide great music and an excitingly different live show. They’re a party covers band playing tunes ranging from Bob Marley and Kings of Leon to U2 and they will have you dancing all night long!


MAY 20 - Wellswung Daddies - Swing

With 11 members, including male and female vocals, Wellswung Daddies are a big band in the style of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. Wellswung Daddies bring their unique style to original songs and big band classics made famous during the Great Gatsby era and the prohibition years. 


MAY 26 - Dirty Channel - Rock Roots Jam

Adam Brown captivates audiences with his unique vocal style and expressive guitar sounds. Widely hailed as one of Australia’s best Dobro slide guitarists, Brown’s gigs and recordings leave listeners feeling energised and musically sated.

Brown will be joined at the Southport Sharks’ gig by his dynamic band The Dirty Channel. With a depth to their repertoire that demonstrates versatility and an impressive stylistic range.


MAY 27 - Dance On - RNR

Experience the best of the swinging sixties with Dance On!  Playing music which appeals to all ages, this four-piece ensemble boasts over 12 years of experience in the music industry. Whether you want to dance or sit and tap your toes to the music, this popular vintage rock ‘n’ roll band will keep you entertained all night long.
