Bringing you a diverse range of entertainment, with a range of fantastic bands performing on the Main Stage at Southport Sharks every Friday and Saturday night, from 8.30pm. Local, national and international talent showcase of Soul, Blue, Funk, Rock N Roll, Hip Hop, Covers, Top40, Pop, Reggae, Alternative and some of the best Tribute acts. All our shows are FREE to attend.

MARCH 3 - THE FERAMONES - ROCK

If you appreciate classic rock, don’t miss The Feramones’ Australian summer tour. The Byron Bay six-piece ensemble comprises of internationally acclaimed musicians - lead guitarist Rick Fenn (10cc), Alan Park (Cliff Richard’s musical director and pianist), guitarist Alan Limbrick (Mike Oldfield, Joan Armatrading, David Knopfler), bassist Greg Lyon (Rodriguez, Hip Pocket, Crossfire), singer Colin Germano (Bourbon Street, Late for Woodstock) and drummer Rick Lloyd (RAM, Late for Woodstock).

Fans welcome their style of rock that includes covers from Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Toto and a host of other great artists from the 60s, 70s and 80s. 

 

MARCH 4 - O.L.B. - LATIN

O.L.B. (Oz Latin Brothers) Music Production Band, has been performing for over 12 years entertaining audiences with their infectious blends of Latin music along with Pop, Funk and Disco.

They have an extensive repertoire ranging from Salsa, Cha Cha, Mambo, Disco, Funk and Top 40 all with O.L.B.'s unique Latin flavour

 

MARCH 10 - LATE FOR WOODSTOCK - WOODSTOCK ERA

Late for Woodstock are one of the coasts favourite bands reaching audiences both young and old with the sounds of yester-year. With each performance, Late for Woodstock takes audiences back to a time which spawned so many enduring classic rock legends of the 60’s and 70’s, and recreateS the essence of mankind’s most creative years in music.

 

MARCH 11 - DANCE ON - RNR

Go back to the swinging sixties with Dance On. Featuring professional musicians who were born out of the popular sixties music scene, they celebrate the tunes of the 50s and 60s era. This popular vintage rock ‘n’ roll band pleases just about any audience, whether you want to dance or just enjoy sitting and tapping your toes to the music, Dance On will keep you entertained all night long.

 

MARCH 17 - O'LEARY & THE MUNSTER BUCKS - ST. PATRICK'S DAY 

O'Leary & The Munster Bucks is the only all Irish band made up of a Corkman, Kerryman and a Waterford man. The band creates an authentic Irish experience, performing both traditional and contemporary music from some of Ireland’s greatest and most beloved writers.

Well known and loved in his native Ireland, Jack O'Leary is a gifted singer and story-teller who embodies the culture, history, and passion of his people and brings it to life in song and verse. Playing with his band the MunsterBucks for Sharks' St Patrick's Day celebrations the audience is in for an Irish music blast. The band featuring Tommy Donovan (Banjo and Mandolin) Eddie Nolan from (Uileenn  Pipes,  Flute, and Whistle) and Jack O'Leary (Vocals, Guitar and Bodhran). 

 

MARCH 18 - MIDNIGHT GROOVE - COVERS

This unique, multi-instrumental band has the versatility of offering many different musical genres. This exceptional combination includes the soulful, sophisticated vocals of Sarah Browne (as seen on “The Voice 2016”), performing with her wonderful 5-piece band, Midnight Groove. Midnight Groove has a diverse repertoire from Sinatra to Ella, Madonna to Bob Marley, Jazz to Soul, and Disco to Pop. 

 
 

MARCH 24 - FUNK N WAGNELLS - DANCE | FUNK | FUSION

Funk n Wagnells are a multi-talented group incorporating the unique sounds of sophisticated jazz, classic funk and hi-density dance to every performance. The band is made up for Mark Watson on vocals/keys, Steve Keely on vocals/guitar and vocals and Adam Thomas on vocals/sax.

 

MARCH 25 - CATFISH & THE DEEJAYS - RNR

Listen to the talents of Catfish & The Dee Jays playing classic 50’s & 60’s Rock & Roll, Swing, Country Rock, Waltz Time. Featuring Catfish Purser, an original member Australia’s iconic rock & roll band Johnny O’Keefe.

 

 

MARCH 31 - DEVILS KIOSK - BLUES

With a fusion of earthy, blues sounds from the 40’s and 50’s, and soulful feels of the 60’s and 70’s, Devil’s Kiosk is one of Australia’s top blues acts. Incorporating classic harp and guitar sounds, their acts are dynamic, emotionally charged, fused with tension, and deeply steeped in the blues. Soak up their edgy and energy driven blues performance when they perform on Southport Sharks’
