Bringing you a diverse range of entertainment, with a range of fantastic bands performing on the Main Stage at Southport Sharks every Friday and Saturday night, from 8.30pm. Local, national and international talent showcase of Soul, Blue, Funk, Rock N Roll, Hip Hop, Covers, Top40, Pop, Reggae, Alternative and some of the best Tribute acts. All our shows are FREE to attend.

Restrictions on children on the dance floor as per the club's Children's Policy. Children 13-18 are permitted on the dance floor after musicians commence playing, provided that they are dancing alone with a single adult person, and under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

 

 

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 4 - BLUES ARCADIA - BLUES | SOUL

Blues Arcadia are bringing back the Chicago and Michigan Blues era, entertaining audiences with their dirty mix of soulful tunes. Playing festivals such as Blues on Broadbeach and winning Best New Talent at the Australian Blues Music Awards, the band is sure to showcase their talent on the mainstage of Southport Sharks. 

 

 

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5 - ROCKKS - CLASSIC ROCK

Well known throughout the Gold Coast for their classic covers, Rockks will be bringing their wide range of performances ranging from the 70's to now. Over 6 years together and 200+ gigs have made them a memorable band that ensures a good night. They describe themselves as a 'good time party band that performs for the fun and friendship'. Come along for a great night!

 

 

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11 - WITH OR WITHOUT U2 - TRIBUTE

With or Without U2 recreates the band's spectacular essence in their live show, amazing audiences with their high attention to detail and undeniable talent. The ultimate tribute to the iconic band, With or Without U2 will be wowing audiences at the Main Stage of Southport Sharks, don't miss it. 

 

 

 

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18 - FAT ALBERT - MODERN ROCK

Driving along in now it's 12th year of heart pumping, foot stomping, sweat dripping rock'n'roll, the Fat Albert machine is stronger than ever. Supporting bands such as Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect and Amity Affliction, the band consists of well trained musicians, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in live entertainment. If you love modern rock you are sure to love what Fat Albert has to offer.

 
 

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19 - ROCKIN BODGIES - ROCK N ROLL

Rockin Bodgies provide good, danceable rock and roll music with a helping of rhythm and blues. They are in demand as a lively ance band, with colourful costumes and an interactive stage presence that never fails to get the crowd on the dancefloor. Make sure to check them out on Saturday night at the main stage of Southport Sharks!

 
 

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25 - MCKENZIE - COVERS

McKenzie is one of the youngest bands playing at leading venues and weddings around South Australia, and with good reason. The four pirce band brings songs from the 50's to today, back with their high energy interaction and stage presence, with a McKenzie twist. Their key focus is to keep the crowd involved and put on a great show, which is a definite.

 
 

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26 - THE KRAVATZ - ROCK N ROLL

The Kravats were formed in 1957 and are arguably the longest continuous playing rock band in Australia. In their early days of Rock and Roll the boys, then in their late teens were covering the songs of Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Little Richard and their contemporaries. The dance halls were soon packed with enthusiastic fans jiving to the Kravatz. Come and relive these moments at the Main Stage of Southport Sharks.
