Zac Foot Reaches 50 Southport Games

The Southport Sharks would like to congratulate VFL Vice-Captain Zac Foot who is set to play his 50th game for the club this Saturday against the Gold Coast Suns.

The Southport Sharks would like to congratulate VFL Vice-Captain Zac Foot who is set to play his 50th game for the club this Saturday against the Gold Coast Suns.

Foot, who played two AFL games for the Sydney Swans in 2020, joined the Sharks ahead of the 2022 VFL season.

In 2023 he was added to the leadership group, before becoming vice-captain in 2024.

Southport’s General Manager of Football Operations, Jarrod Field, said, “Zac has been a terrific leader for our football club and has played a significant role in both our forward line and midfield over the last few seasons.”

“We wish him all the best for his 50th game and hopefully we will be able to celebrate the milestone with a win against our local rivals.”
