Club business
The following dress is NOT permitted at any time:
- Bare feet
- Swimwear
- Clothing or footwear that is unduly soiled
- Clothing that is dirty, frayed, untidy, faded or ripped
- Clothing that is immodest
- Clothing displaying offensive, rude or illegal motifs and pictures
- Clothing displaying gang colours, patches or insignia
- Clean and tidy work wear
- Singlets
- Caps (not permitted in the the gaming room at any time)
- Slides/thongs
We have over 500 free car parking spaces for our members and guests visiting the club. We also have paid parking options for those looking for a place to park close to the Health and Knowledge Precinct.
Daily Parking
Is available around the oval for people visiting the Health and Knowledge Precinct for *$6 per day, via the boom gate entrance to Fankhauser Reserve. Payment can be made upon exiting via card payment*
Weekly passes
Are available for $40, with car parking located at Car Park 4 (Melia Court car park). These passes are valid for five days from Monday to Sunday and directions can be given by the car parking attendants upon your arrival. Cash or card* payment is required on arrival for the weekly passes.
No - we don't have visitor cards for guests. If playing in the gaming room a ticket will be issued once you press 'take win & collect'.
Southport Sharks takes great pride in its reputation as a family-friendly environment, and it is opportune that we remind members and guests of the guidelines for use of the facility by children.
- The dress code applies to all persons over 15 years of age
- Children under the age of 15 must be neatly and tidily attired
- For safety purposes, children of all ages must wear footwear at all times, in all areas of the Club, with the exception of Wobbygongs
- For safety purposes, football or studded boots are not deemed proper footwear for children within the Club
- Children not in the care of Wobbygongs staff must be accompanied by a responsible adult (25 years of age or older) at all times
- Children are not permitted in the Gaming room at any time
- Children under 12 are not permitted on the dance floor after the commencement of any live band/artist, with the exception of designated children’s nights.
- Children 13-18 are permitted on the dance floor after musicians commence playing on any night, provided that they are dancing alone with a single adult person, and under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
No, you don’t need to be a member to dine! Anyone is able to enter the venue. Over 18 must have a valid ID.
After 9pm guests must scan valid photo identification to enter the facilities. Southport Sharks reserves the rights to deny entry.

yes, cakes can be brought in, however we cannot store them for you.
Our Dance floor is open Friday & Saturday nights from 8.30pm. Please note, children are not allowed on the dance floor from 8pm.
Membership Information
No – Gaming Machine will not let you use your birthday credits. However, if you would like a beverage or food, you can order with one of our staff members while in the gaming room.
Access Bonus Credits can only be used on Food & Drink throughout the club, excluding, FINS Cellar, Aviary Rooftop Bar & Mantra at Sharks Hotel. Access Bonus Credits expire at the end of every month.
Yes - we do a fortnightly check, and any upgrades are done then. You will be notified either via email or mail.
No - Birthday Credits are only valid to use on Food & Drink throughout the club, excluding; FINS Cellar, Aviary Rooftop Bar & Mantra at Sharks Hotel. Your birthday credits are only valid for the month of your birthday and the month after.
All Access Points expire on the 30th of September every year. Access Bonus Credits expire at the end of every month.
We no longer send printed birthday vouchers. Members now receive a $20 birthday credit by swiping their membership card at the kiosk in the month of their birthday. $20 Birthday Credits are added to your card and are valid from the time you swipe your card in the month of your birthday until the completion of the following month unless used beforehand. Birthday Credits can be used on Food & Drink outlets, excluding FINS Cellar, Mantra at Sharks hotel, and Aviary Rooftop Bar.
Access bonus credits can be used throughout the club excluding; Fins Cellar, Aviary Rooftop Bar & Mantra at Sharks Hotel. Access bonus credits expire at the end of every month.
Your Access points can be taken out as cash in $5 increments, or they can be used throughout the club, with no minimum spend, excluding Mantra at Sharks hotel & Aviary Rooftop Bar. Access points expire on the 30th of September very year.
Through gaming. Play with your current membership card in the machine. During major promotions, you may accrue points through point of sale or promotional machines. Access bonus credits are accrued on previous months' gaming turnover.
By playing in the gaming room. Turnover gives you tier credits, which go towards your next tier.
Renew your membership by seeing our team at reception. Remember to update any changes to your details.

Visitation Points
Swipe your card at the kiosk when entering the venue, and you will receive 10 points per day as a Jade member. Accrue points to move up tiers.
We have two (2) rating periods every year they start 1st of April & 1st of October. Check out our tiers listed below, along with the credits needed to maintain or reach a tier.
