We are deeply saddened to hear the recent passing of two stalwarts, Stan Sheehan and Dulcie Young.
Stan was recruited from Ballarat and played for the Magpies in 1970 and 1971. He was a brilliant centreman and won the 1971 Best and Fairest in his second year at the club.
Dulcie was a long-term and passionate supporter who, along with her Foundation Member husband Frank (decd) and her whole family, contributed so much time to the success of the Southport Sharks Football Club.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Stan & Dulcie’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with you, and we will continue to remember their contribution to our club.
