Southport Sharks Health + Fitness has designed toddler and kid friendly classes that will keep you and your little ones active and entertained!

Connect with like-minded mothers and be a part of a community gym with Mums and Bubs classes. Enjoy 45 minutes of supportive training every Monday and Thursday at 10.30am. The training is tailored to your body’s needs at your current fitness level to safely get you back into exercise.

Qualified instructors will help build a strong foundation from the inside out with functional activities that you can do with your body weight. They will also demonstrate how to calm your nervous system, alleviate tension in the neck and shoulders through slow and controlled movements, and guide you with simple meditation techniques you can also practice at home.

Select instructors also specialise in antenatal and postnatal training, including a registered “Safe Return to Exercise Coach”, plus a qualified infant massage instructor and registered Midwife.

Mums and Bubs are FREE for Fitness Centre members and only $12 for non-members. Bubs must be aged 6 weeks to 12 months.

Perhaps your older kids want to join in the fun too? They can get their zen on with Kids Yoga every Tuesday and Thursdays at 3.45pm. For only $7 per child, fully qualified instructors will boost your kid’s confidence with various yoga styles, all while improving flexibility, balance, and concentration.

Classes run for 45 minutes, and ages range from 7 to 13 years.
