Bookings for these workshops and the retreat are essential and do book out. They are open to SSH+F members, however guests may attend (prices outlined below) – so bring your friends!

Our Nourishing and Bush Flower Circle Workshops are presented by one of our Group Fitness Instructors Lorin Thorp, who is a qualified Naturopath (BHSc) and Yoga teacher.

Nourishing Workshop

Friday, 8 November from 6.45pm (1.5hours)

How can we Nourish ourselves? In this workshop, we will discuss areas of life that are important to nourish, so we can be the best version of ourselves. Keeping the approach simple, find out how you can improve your energy, sleep, digestion and vitality.

Come in comfy clothes to sit and move your body with ease.

Yin Yang Yoga Retreat

Saturday, 16 November from 8.30am (3hours)

8.30am | Yang and Hatha Yoga – Instructors Lesley & Lorin

Yang and hatha yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice, bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. Hatha, simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures meaning power and to the balance of masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) and feminine aspects (receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites.

9.45am | Millennium Massage workshop – Layla

In this 30min timeframe I will be introducing different types of massages (Relaxation, Deep tissue, Remedial, Hot stone, Reflexology, Bamboo massage) and the benefits. I will explain and demonstrate

  • Self massage trigger points
  • Basic stretching techniques
  • Foam roller techniques for major groups of muscles
10.15am | Yin Yoga and Meditation – Instructors Lesley & Danielle

Experience the bliss of yin yoga a relaxing and nurturing practice of yoga. This practice is meditative & seated with deep and long held postures that will revitalise your entire body and balance you meridian system. Finishing off with meditation to clear your mind and relax the body.

Bush Flower Circle Workshop

Thursday, 21 November from 5.45pm (2hours)

Bush flowers are powerful remedies that have been used across our beautiful land for centuries. They work on an energetic and vibrational level to support the underlying emotional causes of disease and illness, thus providing a subtle transformation from the inside out. Whether you need support for repeated patterns in your life, with recent or upcoming changes, Australian Bush Flowers are for everyone. Join us in this circle and create a personalised remedy to take home. You will be guided to create what it is you need.

What is included? Tea, yummy snacks and your own BUSH FLOWER ESSENCE!

Comfortable clothing for meditation and relaxation. There will be opportunity to make additional essences for family or to gift to friends who cannot attend (special price of $15 per essence).
