The following terms and conditions apply to the Southport Sharks Aloha promotion.

The promotion commences on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 8.30am, and concludes at 8pm on Friday, August 25, 2017.

The opportunity for entry is open to all new and renewed 2017 financial members* excluding staff, club contractors and members of the board.

Persons must be 18 years and over to become a Southport Sharks member and therefore, to enter the promotion.


Cash Draws Component, Wednesdays & Fridays:

One (1) entry ticket is automatically accrued.

Food and Beverage Purchases:

  • One (1) automatic entry for members is awarded for each transaction over $10 at the following outlets; Frenzy Food Court, Carmody's Restaurant & Bar, Cafe, Cabana Bar & Lounge, Lounge Bar, Terrace Bar, Mackenzie's Sports Bar and Fins Cellar.
  • Exclusions include; Event/Transport ticket purchases, Ticketmaster purchases, Keno purchases, Bingo ticket purchases, external product purchases.
  • My Rewards point purchases at point of sale are not included in this promotion; the included purchases apply to cash transactions only

Gaming Turnover:

  • One (1) automatic entry will be awarded for every $10 gaming turnover generated by members.

All entries are automatically added to the virtual ticket barrel for entry into the weekly draws.

Winners will be drawn from 8pm Wednesday and 8pm Friday throughout the duration of the promotion, including:

Winners must validate their entry tickets by swiping at the kiosk on each of the draw days including the major draw date. Kiosk swipes to validate weekly draws must take place between 5pm - 8pm each draw, Wednesday and Friday.

All weekly draws will take place via the virtual barrel. Winners must be present and have five (5) minutes to present themselves to the compere. In the event the winner is not present the compere will conduct a redraw after the five (5) minute time is up. This will continue until a present winner is found.


Major Cash and Prize Draw Component:

The major cash or prize draw will take place on Friday August 25, 2017 at 8pm and entrants must validate their entry tickets by swiping at the kiosk between 5pm - 8pm. The winner will have the opportunity to select either $10,000 or a trip for two people  to Hawaii for 7 nights including flights, accommodation and $5,000 spending money (total trip value up to $10,000 including spending money).

One (1) play per week is issued on the Wymac Colossus Machine (Colossus) for 2017 members. Prizes on offer include:

In the event of a Colossus malfunction, or if Colossus is disabled, the member may visit Southport Sharks on another occasion to play on Colossus for the chance to win a prize. Southport Sharks is not responsible for any Colossus malfunction, incorrect names on tickets or if the machine is not operating.

If an incorrect name does appear on the ticket - one of our friendly reception team can write the members name on the ticket and the member may validate at the appropriate outlet or enter the second chance draw. Southport Sharks cannot be held liable for incorrect printing of a third party product.

Up to $49,570 total cash and prizes will be on offer. Tickets will be issued by Colossus only, Tickets have a validity period of August 21. Every non-winner will receive a ticket for a chance to win $500.

The draw for the $500 cash prize will take place at approximately 8.00pm on Friday August 25, 2017. Winner does not have to be present to win the prize. Winner will be contacted via telephone or email if they are not present.


Leaderboard Points Component (Jackpods):

One (1) play every 24 hours is issued on the Wymac JackPod Machine for 2017 members. Cumulative leader board prizes (at the end of the promotion):

In the event of a Jackpod malfunction, or if Jackpod is disabled, the member may visit Southport Sharks on another occasion to play on Colossus for the chance to win a prize. Southport Sharks is not responsible for any Jackpod malfunction, incorrect names on leader board and tickets, or if the machine is not operating.

If there is a malfunction and the Jackpod requires to be reset by the manufacturer the leader board scores will cease to accumulate.

Southport Sharks Australia Rules Football Club takes no responsibility for third party supplier queries or product faults, including Colossus and remains independent of the third party supplier relationship.

Any non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable to other valued goods.

Once the draws have been closed and winners selected, no further correspondence will be entered into. The decision is final as dictated by the virtual barrel mechanics.

By entering the competition, the contestants' consent to their names and/or photographs being published within Southport Sharks' marketing collateral.

The Southport Sharks' decision as to the result of the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
