We went into Saturday’s game against Redland desperate to get the 4 points. After a disappointing performance against NT and 4 changes at selection, our youngest team this season produced a much-needed win to keep our season alive.

After a best on ground performance at Full Back last week, Jack Anthony was sent to Full Forward in an inspired coaching move which proved to be the difference.

A return of 9 marks and 5 goals from Jack sparked a very impressive 3.5 quarters of footy which was only soured by 5 last quarter Redland goals, meaning the final margin of 18 points didn’t really reflect our dominance.

Jordan Keras continued his stellar form with 44 disposals and 12 clearances and was ably assisted in the midfield by Seb Tape and Andrew Boston.

Cody Filewood was also good in an unfamiliar defensive role hauling in 9 marks.

We head to Metricon Stadium next Saturday to take on the Suns in another crunch game.

Coach Nathan Bock is searching for his first win against his old club and this would be the perfect week for the players to deliver it.
